Djess is a 1st generation 3L student at Quinnipiac School of Law. Djess serves as President of Quinnipiac’s Black Law Students Association and sits as the Treasurer of Empowering Through Beauty a faith-based non-profit organization in Bridgeport, CT. Djess is passionate about his faith, mental health advocacy, racial justice, and career mentorship. Djess is also a photographer. Drafted an internal memo on an adversarial proceeding involving the voidability of a real estate transaction, drafted
court notes for upcoming hearings, and conducted additional research on the court’s power to deny a debtor's discharge
by sua sponte.
